A minute for you know who....!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE....!
For me this one's a must post entry.... I know that everyone is busy right now with their family, religious, spiritual, Panatas, or school holiday's activities.... Like everyone else, i have my own choices of spending my easter break too.... But whoever you are, whatever you are, whichever religions and divisions of christianity you're in, or whatever religious / non-religious beliefs you have, let us all at this very moment, as a world for just a brief while become one and stop whatever it is that we're doing and offer "you know who" a moment of silent prayers and remember how blessed and greatful we are for what he have done for us and for the whole world.... By doing so, you'll do yourself a great favor by turning this year's easter break into a more special and worthwhile remembering one.... Happy easter all....! Have fun....! Can't hardy wait to hear from all of yous and what yous did during your easter break....!

My idea of a Blogosphere....

Define Blogosphere - A collective blog community. A center of electronically generated kalokohan, pag-ibig, family, barkadahan, bahaybahayan, bangayan, reliheyon, astigan, yabangan, lampungan, palaisipan, puyatan, sisihan, tsismisan, pikunan, pityuran, kapraningan....etc, etc, etc

Some say it's like a spider-web that goes around and around with it's fine thread, but structurewise it has a strong frameworks that bonds each wiggly-wobbly strand of threads together to withstand the ever changing test of time.... Just like the way a web-community bonds together....

Some even thought that it's like a network of railroads running the neverending winding tracks, zigzaging, criss-crossing, and connecting people to every stations they wish to be without any tangles, delays, or traffics....






However, technical minded brainiacs / gizmonatics / web-addicts / cyberchopathics....etc, associates these whole ideas with the blockbuster head slammer movie Matrix.... In which our world is hanging unfirmly between realities and illusions.... They described it as a world of bright neon lights, digits, binaries, codes or a neverending fast-fall in a bright tweed and tangle pipelines.... Or speeding-up towards uncertainties.... Just like the movie Matrix itself....



So far, i've never encountered such questions as : How does a Blogosphere looks like, or what is it shape like? Does it looks like my astig brother or shape like my lasenggo father?



Obviously naman a sphere is a sphere.... It has a spherical shape like our world so it symbolises a world.... But if that sphere is same as the atmosphere, then it would have a platelike layers....


In my own opinion slash imagination, isa lang at wala ng iba.... Ang the only one that meets these characteristics.... Ano pa kundi PIZZA....! Ha-ha-ha...!


Who cares kung ano'ng shape and looks ng Blogosphere....! Sasakit lang ang ulo ko sa kaiisip nyan gutom pa ako....! Kaya kung disagree kayo dito ay bahala kayo....! Basta ako lalantakan ko na to....! Wooohooo....! Grab a piece everyone....!


P.S. You know what goes along well with pizza, apart from fizzy drinks....? A bottle of anesthetic (beer na beer!) ha-ha....! Tsalap....!

History of April Fool's Day....

Happy April Fool's Day sa lahat....! Kahapon ko pa sana pinublish ang entry na to kaya lang ay na distract ako nung issues dun sa last entry ko kaya hindi ko nagawang i-post to kaagad....!

Anyways, better late than never.... Normally we start the day here by giving a friend a punch on the arm first before he realise that it's April Fool's Day that day pala.... It's not like i will punch someone then he will punch me back and vice versa kasi bugbugan ang ending nun....! Kunting dampi lang.... Not too hard kung baga....

Actually, April Fool's Day is a day of playing tricks or maybe outsmarting someone with some clever antics.... You don't really have to hurt somebody but nowaday type of jokes are sometimes can get too harsh if not being observed properly....

Last friday's party, two of my workmates already had a taste of this April Fool's harshness when they drank some soy sauce served in shot glasses thinking that those were shots of rum ha-ha....!

Anyways, the day is almost over and if until now nothing had happen to you yet ay SAFE ka na pare ko....! I just wanna share to all this history of the April Fool's Day that i was reading this morning.... So sit back, relax and open your eyes wider.... This is highly educational stuff....! Pay attention kids....! 8D

The history of April Fool's Day or All Fool's Day is uncertain. Current thinking is that it began around 1582 in France with the reform of the calendar under Charles IX. The Gregorian Calendar was introduced, and New Year's Day was moved from March 25 - April 1 (new year's week) to January 1.

Communication traveled slowly in those days and some people were only informed of the change several years later. Still others, who were more rebellious refused to acknowledge the change and continued to celebrate on the last day of the former celebration, April 1. These people were labeled "fools" by the general populace, were subject to ridicule and sent on "fool errands," sent invitations to nonexistent parties and had other practical jokes played upon them. The butts of these pranks became known as a "poisson d'avril" or "April fish" because a young naive fish is easily caught. In addition, one common practice was to hook a paper fish on the back of someone as a joke.

This harassment evolved over time and a custom of prank-playing continue on the first day of April. This tradition eventually spread elsewhere like to Britain and Scotland in the 18th century and was introduced to the American colonies by the English and the French. Because of this spread to other countries, April Fool's Day has taken on an international flavor with each country celebrating the holiday in its own way.

In Scotland, for instance, April Fool's Day is devoted to spoofs involving the buttocks and as such is called Taily Day. The butts of these jokes are known as April 'Gowk', another name for cuckoo bird. The origins of the "Kick Me" sign can be traced back to the Scottish observance.

In England, jokes are played only in the morning. Fools are called 'gobs' or 'gobby' and the victim of a joke is called a 'noodle.' It was considered back luck to play a practical joke on someone after noon.

In Rome, the holiday is known as Festival of Hilaria, celebrating the resurrection of the god Attis, is on March 25 and is also referred to as "Roman Laughing Day."

In Portugal, April Fool's Day falls on the Sunday and Monday before lent. In this celebration, many people throw flour at their friends.

The Huli Festival is celebrated on March 31 in India. People play jokes on one another and smear colors on one another celebrating the arrival of Spring.

So, no matter where you happen to be in the world on April 1, don't be surprised if April fools fall playfully upon you.

Local culinary crap....

Last friday we (the whole company) went to a farewell party given by our ever generous company owner (Bert) to one wonderful co-worker, (Roger) an engineering staffer who's been there in the organisation for a fairly sum of years now and was spending his last few hours in the company with us before the retirement from this life's overturned daily routines (career/job) to a whole leisurous and a brand new horizon....



The party was held in a restaurant just along darling harbour in sydney who's crappy food was nothing compared to most restaurants with the same ranking in pinas.... When i say crappy, i mean crappy....! I'm not a chief myself, but i can do cook a decent meal, and when it comes to food i can definitely tell a good taste from the bad one....



I can't blame the company for setting the party at that place because obviously no one of us had been there before.... And as far as advertising is concern, i think it was purely curiosity that brought us there.... And i'm now really convinced that curiosity did killed the cat....!



Some western nations gave us names (kumpil) like: " only filipinos eats grass " but this time i think they're absolutely wrong....! This sort of a pressure on top of the head trait is also happening here in downunder....!



So far, this is only the second restaurant that i had experienced eating a tiny serving of dish with a bountifully exaggerated amount of garnishings and salads on top and all-over it that can already keep a hungry rabbit busy for hours....! And imagine those people that comes and go everyday....! What will they say too....?!



I whinge because it is so unfair towards the expectations of their costumers....! People came to those restaurants with ratings such as 3-4-5 stars expecting a good dining and a justified quality, quantity and flavor according to it's cost, but instead those restaurant are only selling their spots in the area and the views.... Forget about the food, forget about the whinge just look at the view....! Look there's a boat passing....! And then charging their costumers unfairly for those so called reasons....?! Now where is the fairness in that....?!



That's why i will never ever give away our yummy filipino dishes in exchange for some crappy culinary culture that they have here....! Hindi ko nilalahat kasi madami din naman ang mga straight forwards dyan.... But as time goes by, they also seems to be getting more scarce than ever....!



And don't get me wrong.... Food is food and i do appreciate and thank god for whatever food it is on my table without a doubt.... We are more blessed to still have them on our tables, unlike some unfortunate people from poorer countries who doesn't even have a single grain of rice in their plates.... But i just hate it when people are using them to cheat towards others....!



Why can't these restaurant operators just at least forget about the greed and instead be honest and be fair to their costumers instead.... Besides, by doing so these costumers in return will keep on coming back and bring the life of their businesses ticking-over....!



Sadya reklamador lang ba talaga tayong mga pinoy o talaga lang nakikitaan ko ng mga turning points ang pamamaraan nila dito....? I think i have all the rights naman to be upset at this very moment because i spent more than 30 minutes in the toilet last friday night trying to get rid of that toxic stuff inside my stomach that was bothering my sleep all night long....!



At hindi lang ako dahil pagdating ko sa trabaho kanina ay topic na sa work namin ang ordeal nila last friday night na walang pinagkaiba sa dinanas ko in almost every details....! Now you tell me.... Should i keep my mouth shut or speak out loud....?! Ha?! Wala kayong masabi ano....?!



Sige.... Habang nag-iisip kayo ay iidlip muna ako sandali.... Gisingin nyo na lang ako mamaya kung nakapagmunimuni na kayo at ready na kayong sagutin ang tanong ko at akoy puyat at wala pang tulog dahil sa B****T na restaurant na yan....! (nanggigigil! hikab!)



At buti na lang pala hindi kami nabangga kahapon kasi kasalukuyan na palang kumukulo ang tyan ng kasama namin habang nagmamaneho....! Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Astig na buhay to....!

Buzzy Day....

Define busy : A single slash multiple individuals, living things and non-living things, digital slash analog, engaged in full slash half-full activities or occupied with work etc....etc....



Well, that's one of the events which started my day today.... Ala-Mission impossible the pinoy version kuno....


Subject : Costumers / Suppliers / Visitors / Mga asungot

Time : 00:00 Hrs. Sharp ( kasi flexible but need to start early if possible.)

Target : PEMPEK Systems

Mission : Alikabok / Sapot ni Spiderman / Eroplanong papel / Saranggola ni pepe

Weapon : Walis tambo / Basahan / Braso / Siko / Tuhod / Dila



Naligo pa naman ako to start with.... (bakit hindi ka ba laging naliligo peng....?) Seldom happen, but yes it did occured today.... Yesterday our big B, actually second big B (the president of our company) reminded us about the visitors from i forgot where but somewhere in europe daw are coming over to have a closer look (i thought that was close enough already....!) at the products that we're doing here in downunder....



Anyways, big B decided that it would add a pleasant impression if we would at least clear up the production floor area of any obstacles, dust, rubbish, craps, old boxes, otot, putok, tsismosa, etc.... So we did....! But it did not came earlier to me yesterday that things would start at as early as 6 o clock in the morning which few of the other guys did those that really starts early and leave early as well.... What a start to my day....!



In other words, busy day started today even before it's began....! Tuloy imbes na puyat juice ang almusal ko, biglang naging cleaning liquid at basahan....! Nasayang ang ligo ko dun a....! Nakakatawa pa kasi iilan lang ang employees ng company namin so hindi rin gagana ang pretending to clean kuno dahil very easy to spot if you're in the open daw....! Not effective kaastigan ko nito....!



Very ironic din kasi ni hindi man lang nasilayan ng mga cleaners kung sino at kung ano ang bibisita kasi kahit na anino lang ng mga ito ay ni hindi man lang nakaapak sa makintab na pagkadila namin sa tiles ng sahig....! What the F-f-f....flavor!



As a result....? Heto si pepe, parang over cooked chopsuey na pagod na pagod buong maghapon sa mixed mental, emotional, and physical turmoil.... (hikbi) Exaggerated ba he-he....? Well, sabi nga nila : " Another day, another dollar. " kung kaya't bulsa na lang talaga ang inisip ko just to boost-up my crumbling and somersaulting motivation.... Hay buhay....!



Anyways, these kind of events seldom happen naman in the workplace which i'm in, but next time i will be more prepared na as a result of this lesson that i've learned today.... At the moment i manage to compose this post na kahit na maikli ay a must post subject ito just to get rid of all the bad thoughts from today's ordeal bago matulog just to clear up my mind....



O sige mga my plens....! Ako'y matutulog na muna at bukas ay baka maglilinis na naman kami ulit he-he....! Maybe it's about time na to consider a change of career....! Joks onli po....! Heaven tong present job ko ngayon kala nyo....! Free ang breakfast dito....! Exit na muna si astig.... Plok....! Plok....!

Sunday morning, nagising si astig na may ngiti sa mukha hindi dahil masaya kundi dahil sa confusion.... Hindi yata nagkatugma ang wall clock at ang liwanag sa labas ng bintana.... Anong oras na ba....? Ang source ng chaos, oras lang naman....



March 25, 2007, autumns day.... Araw din ng adjustment for daylight saving time for this year, ibig sabihin ay iaatras ng isang oras ang lahat ng mga orasan (power rangers, synchronise watches....!) sa buong Aus (downunder) or else the 6 o clock in the morning will be something like 3 am lang sa sobrang dilim....


Jet lag effect tuloy inabot ni astig....


After the commotions, back to normal na naman ang ikot ng relos sa kukote ni astig.... Time to have a breakfast.... What's on the menu, ah EGGBLOG and a cup of JAVA.... Pyutir-pyutirs muna before anything else....



Ang agang magsigising nitong mga ka-tags ko a, so browse muna si loko at pa-hop hop ng mga blogs on the net.... Mag-iiwan ng tags kaliwat kanan, itaas ibaba, ilalim ibabaw, patalikod paharap until reality strucked.... Whaat....! My stomach's talking to me....?! My stomach : Turn off mo muna yang pc and look for something to eat or i will just eat me instead....! Pepe : Rayt awey bos....! Natakot mawalan ng bituka....

Takbo ngayon si engot sa may fridge, hanap-hanap.... Ano kayang makakain dito.... Napadako sa may freezer, ayun lumpiang rock solid takam....! (sabay tulo ng laway slurp....!)



Pero teka nga muna.... Esep-esep (bisaya).... Wan yir old na tung isang to a....! Leftover nung before ng new year's eve last december 2006 pa so ngayon ay 2007 na kaya wan yir old na sya.... Galing kong talaga ano....! (sabay pitik ng mga daliri) Di kaya nakakalason na tong mga to....!? Huuu....! Pwede pa yan....!




Kaya mabilis na nagpasya si pepeng beykows layp is at steyk (sarap nun a).... It's magic time, dyaraaan...! Apoy....! Dyaraaan....! Frying pan....! Dyaraaan....! Cooking oil....! What goes next is up to you.... Dyaraaan....! What, walang panandok....? Kamayin mo na lang peng....! Hooo-hoo-phuu! Init....! Araguuy....!

In short ay wala natira sa mga crunchy wan yir old lumpia at kumawala na ang isang mahabang dighaw.... Burrrrrps-burps....! Sarap din pala ng wan yir old lumpia.... Teka nga, makahanap nga ulit ng iba pang mga wan yir old sa loob ng freezer.... (yaackh....!)



But kids, don't do this at home (sa neighbor's home pwede pa siguro) leave it to the highly trained professionals like me.... Takam ulit....! Balik muna si ako sa fridge ha....? Kitakits next post....!

My music player is in hiatus....! (part 2)

Update lang po dun sa last post ko (na in hiatus pa rin) na tungkol sa i.ph audio player.... As we speak ay wala pa ring kaluskos man lang na ginawa ang mga taga i.ph so i guess i'm just going to live with it na lang muna for the time being kasi no choice kaastigan ko rito....! Until such time na baka maawa sila sa akin at mag-respond sila o di kaya ay makahanap ako ng bagong audio player na maganda o kahit hindi na maganda basta ba perfectly functioning lang ay okay na....



Ito lang kasi ang kahirapan sa extension of pc like the web kasi hindi mo kontrolado ang mga nangyayari tulad na lang halimbawa ngayon....! Kung within my pc system lang sana ang blog na to ay kung ano-ano na sanang mga programs ang nailagay ko rito ng walang kapawis-pawis ngayon....



Nanghihinayang lang kasi ako dun sa every efforts na ginawa ko just to compose that audio playlist.... Anyway, i will not lose all those songs because i have a huge collection of those 80's and 90's, in english and opm with me so i can always upload them back to just any audio player that i may link again here in the future.... But imagine the mess that this i.ph audio player did to my site....! It really totally wasted my time and efforts talaga.... KAKAINIS NA I.PH YAN...! Grrrrrrrrrrr....! Bow-wow-wow....!



Hopefully in the long run ay mahahanap ko rin ang ideal audio player ko but for the mean time ay pagtyagaan nyo na lang na pakinggan ang warning message dyan kung first time user kayo ng i.ph audio player ko ay another victim na naman kayo he-he.... Sorry na lang po sa abala....



Wala po tayong magagawa so the show must go on.... In my everydaily life naman, the week started alright for me pero medyo busy pa rin as usual sa work.... Last saturday ay may kunting barbecue gathering ang barkada in one of my friend's house and as usual ulit ay cook again ang astig nyong lingkod as the only member of the group na marunong magluto as in naked chief (Jamie Oliver) ang dating kaya sa kitchen ka muna peng....!



Anyways, lahat ay kumain at nagpakabusog, at meron pang sumakit daw ang batok dahil sa sobrang katakawan sa pork inihaw.... Si pepe naman ay sumakit ang tyan dahil kung ano-ano ang pinagsisiksik sa bituka....! Buti nga sa yo....! Pero overall observations ko ay nag-enjoy naman ang lahat syempre.... Ako yata ang cook....!



At the moment ay walang anomang mga highlights na nangyayari dito sa downunder maliban sa state election (tama ba yun....?) na coming na this saturday pero safe na si pepe dyan kasi kanina ko pa nai-deposito sa mailbox ang vote by postal method ko.... Nag-apply kasi ako last time just before this election week as an elector by post at na-approve naman si loko kaya free ako ngayong mag-over time ng hanggang sa gusto kong oras on saturday.... O di ba astig....!



Ang reasons ko lang na nilagyan ng tick dun sa application ay busy ako palagi and at the same time ay isang silent elector ako.... Kakaiba ano....? Ganyan sila kung magtiwala sa mga citizens nila dito.... Nakakalungkot lang isipin na hindi gagana ang system na kagaya nito sa pinas dahil sa laganap na kurapsyon at mga makasariling mga politiko natin.... Ano nga ba naman ang magagawa ng isang sistemang kagaya nito kung mga politiko lang natin mismo ay nagpapatayan na makadampot lang ng posisyon sa gobyerno....



Pero bakit pa ba natin iintindihin sila e hindi na naman bago sa mga barado nating mga tenga ang mga balita na yan....! Sikapin na lang nating mapakain ang pamilya natin ng tatlong beses sa isang araw at maglabing-labing pagdating ng takipsilim....!



Balik tayo dun sa audio player ko, talaga bang walang mga i.ph users sa mga avid visitors ko dito....? Share nyo naman pagkain nyo este experience nyo pala sa akin.... Alam ko pare-pareho lang naman tayong lahat ng problema....



Ayaw nyo pa nun, pwede tayong mag rally against the collapsing service of i.ph kung magsilabasan lamang sana kayo sa nga lungga nyo....! WE WANT SERVICE...! WE WANT I.PH....! - WE WANT RESULTS....! WE WANT I.PH....! IBAGSAK ANG PRESYO NG PANDESAL....! (ngak....!)



Tama na nga kayo dyan at inaantok na naman ako....! Matulog na lang muna kaya tayo....!
