Farting Community....

Pasensya na po sa mga kumakain dyan ha.... Alam nyo ba na ang mga Herring o commonly known in pinas as Tuyo ay isang kakaibang isda dahil hindi lang sila masarap ulamin, kakaiba rin ang pamamaraan nila ng pag-communicate sa isa't-isa.... The fish actually Farts (utot) a lot just to keep in touch with the whole group or school of tuyo....! Poooot! poots! poooot! (translation: o inuman daw tayo mamya!) =D

Para yung sending emails in the utot-networks he-he....! And it's not just utot the normal tunog na utot like we do....! This is like an Ultrasonic-utot na talagang napakalakas at makabasag basong pag-utot....! Study found that the noise made by the bubble coming out from the school of Herring's Wetpu (gets nyo?) has the same intensity as the noise made by fighter jets on take-off....! Ang galing huh....! Isdang umuutot....!

They believe that fish like anchovies and sprats, which have similar swim bladders, show this farting behaviour as a means of communicating at night and keeping the school together. During the day these fish use visual information, such as the pattern of light reflected off specialised mirror-like scales, to communicate.

Kung kayo kaya ay na-belong sa isang community na ang paraan ng pag-communicate sa isa't-isa ay ang pagpalabas ng napakalakas at mahalimuyak (wow, lalim nun a!) na pabango slash pabantot na rin ay kaya nyo kaya....? Sabi nga dun sa quote sa discovery channel, "how would you like to be surrounded by neighbors who does nothing the whole day but fart?" =D

Herrings and their fishy relatives release air bubbles in large quantities when attacked, but the low level farting appears to serve a different purpose.... This may seem a small addition to the sum of scientific knowledge, but it is useful.... It is the air in the Herrings' swim bladder that shows up in sonar surveys by marine biologists trying to determine the numbers and size of the fish, so information on how much air is released and when is relevant....

Kung ganun ay hindi lang pala ang tao at ang iba pang klasing mammals ang cause ng global warming dahil sa carbon emissions kundi pati na rin ang mga tuyo....! Aba'y dapat palang damihan na natin ang consumptions natin ng tuyo at ng mabawasan naman ang mga mahilig umutot dito sa mundo....! Well, kung pagkain lang naman ng tuyo ang solution sa global warming na yan ay walang problema dahil si Pepe ay number one rin na consumer ng dried tuyo....! Wow ha, dried na tuyo pa....!

Anyways, hanggang dito na lang po ako at pakiramdam ko ay nawawalan na tuloy ako ng ganang kumain pa ng tuyo dahil sa topic na to he-he....! Have a good end of the weekend all....! Sacked Santa Clause....

A 70-year-old man working as Santa Claus says he was SACKED from a Cairns department store for saying "ho, ho, ho" and singing Christmas carols.... In a case of political correctness seemingly gone mad, retired entertainer John Oakes says he was fired from his job at Myer for his rendition of Santa’s famous laugh.

His employer, Westaff, last month sparked national outrage when it ordered its Santas to say "ha, ha, ha" instead of "ho, ho, ho" because it could be derogatory to women but denied the words were a factor in Mr Oakes’s case.... The word "ho" is also American slang for a whore.... A sign of a christmas and santa hater di ba....? How could you think of such stupid ideas na bastos ang word na ho-ho-ho....?! Everyone expect Santa Clause to go ho-ho....! If Santa will go ha-ha, that sounds like Jim Carrey....! And if Santa will say hey-hey-hey, that's more like Krusty the Clown in the famous Simpsons cartoon....!

"They’re trying to kill the spirit of Christmas," Mr Oakes told The Cairns Post yesterday, just days into his fourth year as Myer’s Santa.... "But after my shift on Monday, I got a call from my manager telling me my services were no longer required.... "I hadn’t done anything wrong so I asked her why, and she said, ‘You said ho, ho, ho and that’s not appropriate’.... Since when it's not appropriate for Santa to say ho-ho....? I think they were just plainly being ridiculous, sa palagay nyo....! Isn't Santa suppose to be a happy jolly person....? I think the world is really going in a totally strange direction nowadays, ano sa palagay nyo....? =)

1.) Most of the time, i love to stuff my burgers up with lots and lots of french fries before the very first bite.... I call that the Crunchy Burger....! Try it, it's very nice....!

2.) I have a favorite baseball cap, and i wash, dry, and wear that over and over every other day....! Don't get me wrong, i still have three more baseball caps but i guess i just bought them to catch the dust....! =D

3.) I'm no chef, and i'm no good cook too but i so love the kitchen and proud of my cooking....! Whenever you'll get invited into my place it would be over a breakfast, lunch, dinner, or plainly barbecue at the balcony and not because of a basketball and soccer games on tv or a movie video to watch or any other things....! Of course, i will be cooking again and you'll be my experimental Guinea Pigs bwahaha....! I will not eat it, it's all yours he-he....! Don't worry, you'll survive i promise....! =D

4.) I'd rather spray bleach inside the bathroom and the kitchen instead of air fresheners.... It smells so clean....!

5.) I'd buy 2 dozen eggs and boil a dozen of it and store in the fridge for future use.... I don't know why, but i hate the taste of freshly boiled eggs....!

6.) I will only drink half a mug of my breakfast coffee, and leave the other half in the fridge to drink later on after coming back from work cold with crushed ice.... Tamad ha-ha....! Ice coffee....! Yummm....!

7.) I always leave the radio or tv on everytime i leave the house.... I don't know, i just believe that music and happy noises flushes the bad vibes away.... But that makes me spend too much on electricity bills too ha-ha....! Weird....?! Feel free to try this meme everyone....! Goodie weekend all....! =D

Hail storm in Sydney....

I took a bus to work today.... This is one of those days na kailangan kong mag-bus kaya inagahan ko na lang para makauwi rin ako ng maaga.... Gumising ako ng around 4:45 AM.... Naligo, nagbihis, hindi na rin nag-breakfast kasi kailangan kong habulin ang 5:50 AM na trip papuntang trabaho.... By 5:40 AM, i was already at the bus station na hindi naman malayo sa bahay.... Mga 7 minutes na lakad-takbo lang naman....

Around 6:18 AM, nasa trabaho na ako.... Bilis kong dumating sa work ano....? 12 kilometers lang naman kasi ang distance ng work ko from home.... Normally i don't go to work this early in the morning.... Narinig ko kasi sa news na may thunder storm ngayong hapon kaya since wala kaming overtime every mondays ay good timing na rin para umuwi ng maaga.... I was already worried bandang 2:00 PM kasi nagsimula nang pumatak ang ulan.... Luckily, hindi gaanong malakas at hindi rin dinaanan ng sabi sa news na may hail storm daw somewhere else sa sydney.... Mahirap pa naman maghintay ng bus kung umuulan, lalo na kung puro bukol ka sa tama ng hail stones....!

I got hit by hail stones before you know....! First timer pa lang ako nun sa downunder and i don't know anything about hail storms na yan....! In other words, tatangatanga pa....! =D

Nakatira pa ako nun sa bahay ng tiyahin ko na kapatid ng nanay ko sa Merrylands.... Same time of the year din yun, wala pa akong nahanap na trabaho.... Wala ang husbandry nya nun at pumasok yata dun sa panggabing part-time nya.... Iniwanan nya ang car nya sa labas.... Bigla ba namang umulan ng yelo na kasing laki ng kalamansi....! Nataranta tuloy kami na baka masira ang sasakyan kaya inutusan nya ako na takpan ko raw ng kung ano-ano....! Kumot, balik bayan boxes, tuwalya, carpet, etc....!

Ako naman tong si tatangatanga, biglang sugod na rin kahit hindi handa kaya yun, tinadtad ng naglalakihang yelo ang buong katawan....! Hindi nga nasira yung kotse, bugbog naman mukha ko sa tama ng yelo....! Sakit nun ha....! Anyways, this is how some parts of sydney looks like few hours ago today after the hail storm....

David Beckham in Sydney....

I think i've already posted about this before.... But this time it's the real thing....! For those who like to watch David Beckham play football, mamatay kayo sa inggit he-he....! Joks lang....! I was so busy at work na kahit gusto ko sana tong i-post bago pa sya dumating dito ay wala talagang chance.... Anyways, he's still here promoting a lot of things like his football team the LA Galaxy, his perfume, and lots of things mostly products from japan....


Around 80,000 people turned up to watch him play for LA Galaxy where he is the team captain in last night's exhibition match against Sydney FC. Thought his team lost the match, everyone understand that it was only an exhibition game and he doesn't really have to break a shin bone just to prove his ability to play the game.... Just to watch him perform his spectacular moves was already enough to drive the last night's ecstatic fans wild over Beckham....!


One officemate of mine had a chance to watch the exhibition game last night with his grandson.... Funny thing was, he (the grandson) broke his leg while doing diving in the weekend and the leg was in plaster cast and he was on crutches too when they went to watch the game.... My officemate said that when the security saw them, he then told them to take the front seats instead he-he....! Maybe he thought that the boy's leg got broken in a soccer game and he is a big fan of Beckham....! =D

My other friend's husband and four sons too was there.... They are lucky to get some front seats, manager kasi husband nya sa ACER so they had the chance to get the tickets much earlier and much cheaper from the company where he works.... I'm not really a football follower, and same as all the other filipinos i guess, i am a BIG BIG FAN of basketball games.... But just for the sake of having something na " IN " nowadays to talk about sa trabaho ay nanood na rin ako sa tv nung live broadcast kagabi he-he....! It was alright....

Anyways, panoorin nyo na rin tong video na to.... This is Channel 7 News with David Beckham a day after arriving in sydney.... I hope you can catch-up with the aussie accent, para kasing kinakain nila ang mga words kung magsalita....! =D
