Happy Australia Day....!

Today we are celebrating Australia Day.... It's a public holiday which means i don't have to go to work today.... Some gathers in their backyards and public parks for that traditional Australian barbecue day, some went for a dip at the beach, and others have attended a life changing ceremony that spells the fulfilment of their dreams to be the newest citizens of this lucky country....

Ganitong ganito rin ako nung bago pa lang ako dito habang nakatayo at naghihintay na ma-receive ko rin ang inaasam-asam na certificate of citizenship ko nun.... Isa lang talaga ang hindi ko pa rin maintindihan hanggang ngayon.... Para kasing may kulang pa rin hanggang ngayon.... Hindi ko pa rin nararamdaman yung tinatawag na sense of belonging....

And though how hard i've tried, deep in my heart hindi ko pa rin matatawag ang bansang ito na home.... Ewan ko ba pero ang tulog ko dito ay parang hindi kasing himbing ng tulog ko kapag na sa pilipinas ako.... Talagang in total peace of mind ako dun.... Pusong mamon este pusong pinoy pala....

Seafood marathon downunder....

I was planning to buy some prawns for the noche buena tonight but the queue was so horribly long.... So i've ended up making teriyaki chicken instead....

Shopping centres are in the middle of a marathon trading session, with stores staying open overnight and until 5.30pm today.

Shoppers at the fish markets will buy a staggering 83kg/min of prawns, 93kg/min of fish and almost 1000 oysters/min during today's traditional rush.

Ganyan po kasi ka-popular ang seafood dito sa Downunder specially during christmas season.... And as for my teriyaki chicken naman, it's absolutely delicious.... Better than any fish or prawns.... I think i've made the right decision going to the butcher rather than the seafood market today.... I'll just have that elusive prawns for the new year's eve.... Merry Christmas all....=D

Kunting laman ng utak....

I don't really have much to talk about today, but since i was not able to put any entries here last weekend i just want to write about things that had happened for the past few days.... I feel a bit down today, thinking about a lot of things.... So down that i've unconsciously devoured and finished two large chillis that was part of my "Sinigang" for lunch today, which i normally never does because i hate hot foods....! I think the pungency of it's taste was just mixing well with my mood today that's why....

Well, same as usual i was very busy with works part at home and at the office.... since last tuesday, i've started going to work as early as 5:45 AM just to cope up with the busy schedules of the weeks to come.... Nandun na yung hirap ng paggising sa umaga, winter pa naman ngayon at ang sarap talagang matulog.... By the time i've reached work it was still very dark and there's only two of us there, my fellow pinoy workmate na palagi kong kakuwentuhan at ka-kapehan when it comes to business plans back in pinas.... Since last year kasi, AB and i were already busy investing on something back in pinas.... Naisip ko kasi na ano naman ang gagawin namin dito in the future pagtumanda kami kaya it's better to have something back home na matatawag din naming amin as long as there's no war or anything ay okay dun di ba....?

Lately we've given a reservation money for a small spot in a proposed subdivision area close to a public high school in Iloilo that one day we're planning to turn into a two-floor boarding house for students.... The money that then will go to the mortgages of this new project will come from an empty space that we bought just last year which we are going to put for rental on the next few weeks from now, and at the same time we'are saving for the construction of this new project.... All these thoughts, and plans are just going through my brain like a very long noisy train, day in and day out....

I really wish to go back home as fast as i could.... Gustong makasama ang mga mahal sa buhay at nandyan na rin ang gusto kong makita at alagaan ang parents ko, specially my father sa pagtanda nila, but everything there involves money at hindi natin pwedeng ipagkaila yan.... Kailangan ko lang talaga ay one-third ng earnings ko dito per month na income dun at okay na akong umuwi.... That's why, kapag successful tong boarding house business na'to ay willing talaga akong umuwi to try it out for a year to see how things go....

It's like a race against time talaga.... Kung pwede lang sanang i-frozen ang age ng tao ay ginawa ko na sana.... Some people might think that in order to start something, you'll need the exact amount needed to start those things.... But my idea is different, i have to step down to a certain level where i'll be known as the king....!

Example:

**Di ba, pagnasa section one ka raw sa school, speed class yun, lahat dapat ay matatalino at kailangan kang mag-compete all the time para pantayan ang galing ng lahat ng kaklase mo....

**Pagnasa section two ka naman, lahat ay average lang naman ang talino, pero kailangan mo pa ring mag-exert ng extra'ng efforts para i-maintain ang average na yun....

**Pero sa oras na bumaba ka na ng section three, everything will change.... As a survivor of section one and two, dun kahit pumikit ka pa ng mga mata mo, makinig lang mabuti at tumaas ka lang ng kamay mo palagi ay siguradong nasa top one ka at the end of the school year di ba....? Yun ang ginawa namin, making use of the big difference in currency here and back home.... But we need to start from little beginnings of course, before we hit the much higher marks.... Ika nga, hindi raw nabubuo ang piso kung walang isang sentimo.... Kaya itago ang napulot mong isang sentimo at balang araw ito ay magiging piso.... =D

I remember Leonardo da Vinci had once said, that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them, they went out and happened to things....! So we did....! I believe that all these things that we've started will surely payback well in the long run....

Don't have much to talk about daw o he-he....! At yan po ang madugong pangyayari sa linggong ito.... Sana nagustuhan nyo at hindi kayo nahawa sa mga stress ko.... Gusto ko lang naman pong ibahagi ang kunting laman nitong utak ko sa inyo.... Ingatz sa lahat.... Have a great weekend and week ahead....! =D

Ginabing update....

Hallo bloggerz....! As usual, bisita pa rin ako pansamantala ng sarili kong blog ha-ha....! Malapit na kasing matapos ang book na ginagawa ko kaya medyo wala akong karapatang gumawa ng kahit ano ngayon maliban sa umupo at mag-drawing in front of my pc....! Wala akong karapatang magkasakit, matulog, magutom, maglakwacha, mag-toilet, manood ng tv etc....etc.... =D

At bago kayo magtaka at magtanong kung ano na naman kaya yang inilagay ko na drawing dyan sa gilid na mukhang napaka-violent naman nyan, yan po ang isa sa mga last illustrations dun sa librong ini-illustrate ko ngayon.... Hindi nyo lang pwedeng i-enlarge yan kasi tinanggalan ko ng enlargement function pero clear pa rin po naman sya di ba....? I just hope that the writer of the book will not get angry with me showing another one of the drawings here he-he....! As usual ay naka-watermark naman yan for its protection....

Anyways, yesterday i went to a job-expo at Darling Harbour.... Nagbakasakaling makahanap ng panibagong magandang trabaho dun.... Nandun kasi lahat ng mga work opportunities, agencies, and job opening lahat naka-display sa expo.... I'm just not sure if i'm really ready to leave my present job now, kaya lang masyado na akong na-stress dito.... Hindi dahil sa trabaho kundi dahil sa ilang mga workmates ko na ubod ng bait....

But unluckily, mostly dun sa mga magagandang job offers ay nasa malayong lugar.... Few are in other states pa kaya medyo nag-isip tuloy akong lalo mula kagabi.... Actually it's not the distance that bothers me most kundi yung feeling of belonging ba....? Nasanay na kasi ako dito sa sydney at nandito lahat ng mga relatives and friends ko kaya parang ang hirap mag-let go.... May mga kaibigan akong nag-fill up ng application forms pero sabi ko pass muna ako dyan....

Madami kasing dapat i-consider kung lilipat ako ng state halimbawa.... Una na dyan, kailangan kong maghanap ng bagong matitirahan.... Ang hirap pa namang maghanap ng murang rent ngayon.... Ewan ko ba kung bakit napakamahal ng cost of living dito sa australia kaya ang hirap din tuloy mag-ipon ng pang holiday back to pinas....! Pangalawa, kailangan ko rin palang bumili ng panibagong mga gamit sa bahay if ever na hindi ko pwedeng i-travel ng libo-libong kilometro tong mga lumang gamit ko at baka mas lalong gagastos lang ako, maliban na lang dun sa ilang maliliit at magagaan gaya ng mga damit ko.... Hmmmm.... Mahirap pala....! Pangatlo, wala rin pala akong mga relative and friends dun.... Kanino pa ako mangungutang ngayon....! =D

So i've decided na dito muna ako sa sydney, pakikiramdaman ko muna ang present job ko if ever na maging worse sya, saka ako magdi-decide later on kung ano nga ba ang dapat kong gawin.... The workplace only have to get rid of few kontrabida lang naman and things will get back to normal again.... Sana nakikinig si lord sa'kin ngayon he-he....! Ang sama ko ano....?! Anyways, have a great week ahead everyone....! I'll visit your blogs na lang within this week, promise yan.... Meanwhile, tulog muna ako okay....? =D

My new PRIDE....!

(drum-roll....!) Dyaraaaan....! This is my new Toyota Esso Supra Ultraflo, by Tamiya, japan....! Ganda nya ano....? Ito ang bago kong pride sa workplace namin.... I'm glad and thankful that remote controlled hobbies were invented back then, nakakapagpababa kasi ito ng stress lalo na sa mga workaholic na tulad ko....! Take note moms and dads, this is not a kid's toy.... It's strictly for age 14years old and above only, but if you've already decided to buy this downscaled monster for your little tots, i think you'are just about to find out why....! Because as i've mentioned before in my other posts, it can run up to a massive top speed of 80 to 100 kmph depende sa mga upgrades mo.... And when it smash on the wall, it really does smash on the wall like the real thingy....! My one is only 30 to 40 kmph at the moment but i want to upgrade it to a much higher speed one day....

Medyo mabuti na nga ngayon at hindi na ako masyadong gahaman (napaka brutal na word naman nyan peng!) sa working hours....! Two years ago i was probably working for more than 70 hours a week, double job and four hours lang ang tulog ko nyan....! Lucky me, i found this new job na hindi ko na kailangan pang mag-double para kumita ng ganung amount....

But you know what i've noticed, since i started this RC hobby with my friends at work and we have this weekend racing ay parang medyo nabawasan na rin ang mga work-stress ko at gumaan lalo ang pag-approach ko sa mga problems na dumadating ngayon, so far he-he....! May contributions nga ba kaya ang hobbies in forms of motivations towards the way we look at things in life....? Or is it just me, na napasobra lang ang pagka-obsessed dun sa new found escape ko....? Maybe it's both, ano sa tingin nyo he-he....! =D

Yesterday's race result....

No luck ha-ha....! My car had spun out of control many times....! I was quite disappointed by the performance of my Electric R/C Car and myself of course, but i am not discouraged yet he-he....!

The other cars were very good too, actually most of them are a lot better and i've enjoyed the day heaps....! At the moment i am browsing in the web trying to search for hobby-shops nearby, but it seems that the Electric R/C Cars available here in oz are a little expensive for our pockets to afford, that's why i thought why not search for some online hobby-shops back home in pinas instead....! They can be a lot more cheaper compared to here i suppose....!

Sounds like a good idea and it's just a few clicks away, but my problem is that i don't know the address of those particular websites.... Hopefully i will find one in Iloilo City so that i can ask AB to check them out whenever she's available to go there.... The team ( Drift-package Racers ) asked me to check the prices there too and if possible we can all get our materials from there and the cars as well....

I know this won't be easy but i'll try anyway.... By the way, does anyone knows any hobby-shops that sells Professional Electric or Nitro Radio Controlled Racing Cars anywhere in pinas....? If you do, please HELP....!!! =D

As for the race yesterday, there will always be a next time in everything and i'll make sure that i won't spin again when that time comes.... Fingers crossed he-he....! Meanwhile, i'm badly in need of an upgrade right now so i guess this is goodbye for now but not forever....! I'm going to check the web once more.... I'll be back here again tonight to check your tags if there's any.... And hopefully if i'm lucky, one of yous might have in your hands the answers to my problem....!

This is not the race that we had yesterday, it's just a sneak-peek of what the pros are doing.... This video is from an R/C World Tour Championship.... Galing nila ano....?! I just want to show you how serious this hobby can get, it's not just as simple as a big boy playing a kids toy he-he....! Remember, these cars can run up to a top speed of sometimes 80 km/h....! Naaaapakabilis....! Zoooooom....! =D

I really recommend this kind of hobby to everyone....! Talagang astig na sport....! Medyo magastos nga lang sya pero in terms of enjoyment level naman ay talagang amazing ang dala nitong satisfactions sa hobbiest....! So para sa mga kabataan dyan na bored at walang maisipang gawin, don't spend your money on drugs, spend it on RC Cars instead ha-ha....! This is what they call a good kind of addiction....! =D

Still on racing mode....

This is what i mean by Drifting Guys....! I found this Remote Controlled Cars Drifting competition in U-tube, it's so awsome to watch....! Astig....!



This one is a nitro methane (glow-fuel) type, it's using nitro fuel to run its mini-engine.... It's a lot more better than my rechargeable version....! Did you notice the smoke coming out from behind....? It's so realistic, i'd love to have one of this someday....! =D

Great saturday ahead....!

Can't hardly wait for the next saturday to come....! There will be a great event ahead and i can't hardly wait for that....! Wooohooo....!


Last saturday while having our lunch at the benches outside our workplace we've noticed that there's not much cars at the carpark that day, so one of my workmates opened the back of his car and pulled out a foot and a half long white remote controlled racing car....!


We took turn playing that, speeding around the small pizza-shape island in the middle of the carpark and then we came up with this one bright idea, we are going to bring our R/C Cars and have a mini-car racing next saturday there....! Isn't that fantastic....! The picture on your top right-hand side is the map of my workplace location and the Drift Package R/C Cars Racing Ground, i've made-up that name he-he....! Tunog astig ba....?! =D


One thing's for sure, i will never be left behind eating the others dust on this one ha-ha....! I believe that i have the best, fastest R/C Car in the whole Pempek System's population ( my workplace name.... Pempek : means belly button in thai language. ) but i'm just worried about the battery thingy.... The batteries takes about five long hours to recharge, but i don't know how long can it last.... Best way is to bring a back-up battery just incase he-he....!


By the way, the picture above left is an R/C Car similar to my super drifter SUBARU Impreza WRX.... The only difference is that my one is in red color instead of a blue, but linings and all other features are the same.... Drifting in racing term means, turning using the front breaking system by pulling the hand break instead of stepping on the foot break and throwing the rear part of the car close to a 180 degrees semi-circular swing like a compass, with the nose of the car as the center of the compass.... In high speed, this can make your car appear like skidding side ways....! But don't try to do this with your cars guys, it's a very dangerous manoeuvre and you can get hurt in the process.... It has a real motoring sound and a working headlight for night-time action too.... Also armed with a 7.2 Volts ni-cad rechargeable battery pack.... The only problem is that you need to recharge them at least 5 hours before using....


I wonder what kind of features does the other guy's R/C Cars have hmmmm....! Maybe i should ring them up tonight and ask them to bring their R/C Cars tomorrow and leave them on their work-desk for the rest of the week until saturday's race....


All in all, i know that there will be lots of fun and i'm looking forward to see my Subaru in action....! Anyways, i will post here the result of the race next weekend.... I just hope that my battery packs won't let me down.... =D

End of waiting....!

Just an update on my gigantic angels, at last the female of the pair laid around 50 translucent eggs....! Woooohoooo....! I'm sorry that i'm stuck with the fish topics for a while because i was just worried about my pair of angels.... Now the wait is over ha-ha....!

Finally i don't need to worry anymore....! I was just worried that the eggs will not be deposited properly on anything that they will decide to stick them on to.... It makes me happy and proud watching them guarding their small territory inside the tank around their new nest....

Hey, you know why my angels are gigantic....? For those who also have angels in their tanks, actually i give them an extra-boost of protein by feeding then bits of frozen minced beef once a week....! That's my cheat he-he....!

I have to move a school of Neon Tetras to another tank too because they make the mother angel nervous and restless that she sometimes turn her aggressions to the male angel mistaken him for an intruder inside their territory....

Bilib din ako sa tatay angel kasi everytime na kakagatin sya ng nanay angel ay binibigay nya ang right side ng body nya para kagatin nito....! Parang sinasabi nyang " heto and right side ko darling, dyan mo na lang ibuntong ang galit mo " ha-ha....! Tuloy ay nagka-scars ang right eye nya, pero alam ko temporary lang naman yun kasi may protective tissue naman sila na naka-coating sa mata nila....

At the moment ay 50 tiny eggs that looks more like the butterfly's eggs ang idinikit nila sa glass sa may back side ng aquarium kasi first time parent lang sila, pero later on sa next batch of laying ay baka madami na.... I'm not sure when did the laying occurred kasi hindi ko masyadong na-check kagabi, it was just today when i look for one of the little lightnings (neon tetras) that i've notice something sticking on the surface of the glass....!

I almost jump in too much excitement when i've realised that those were eggs ha-ha....! Straight away i marked the calendar because this is actually my first experience with a breeding pair of angels so i'm thnking of taking datas of the length of hatching and the growth and feeding behaviours of the fries....

I don't know how are they going to feed their fries but if it is similar to the Discuses, they will also shed their old layers of skin and that will be eaten by their babies as food for the first 2 - 3 weeks.... Astig di ba....?!

This is what i always tell my friends about keeping a fish tank, it's actually full of fun and excitements....! Now, i'll be busy anticipating something that i haven't seen before which are baby angels ha-ha....! Isn't that exciting....?!

Anyways, i have to stop here for the time being kasi ililipat ko lang muna ang mga little lightnings sa kabilang tank at nagkakagulo na sila sa loob ngayon dahil sa over-protective nanay angel see yous later....!

Picking-up the pieces....

I tried to clock-off as early as possible today from work because i was planing to clean-up my fish tanks after a year long stand still since i've lost few of my fish from an unexpected event.... If you'are familiar with tropical fish, you know what this topic is about....


I have three fish tanks in my apartment for about three years now, two in the living room, and one in my bedroom by the foot of my bed so i can watch it before falling asleep....


Before i went on holiday back to pinas last year they were so bright with colorful tropical fish inside, but disaster happened and i can't quite figure out what went wrong....! I should've done some thinking before leaving that time.... Hindi sana sila namatay....

I'm a lover of big tropical fresh water fish particularly the lovely DISCUS FISH ever since.... This fish when fully grown can reach up to the size of a dessert plate or platito....! I bought my first tank in 2004 from a pet shop nearby, and it was a bit expensive that time, but i've managed to spare some cash for it kasi gustong-gusto ko nga, then i bought another one from a much cheaper store....


In 2005, i went to a pet-expo just out of curiosity, then i found out that there was a discus fish competition going on down stairs so i went down there and to my delight they were selling the tanks complete with all the accessories that was being used for displays for a very cheap price....!


I bought one big tank, but the expo people told me that i have to wait until the show is finish before i can pick it up, but it was worth the buy because it's a lot more cheaper than those tanks sold in the shops....! I should've bought two instead of just one that time....

At the moment, i have three tanks in total and still planning to add one more kung hindi lang sana ako nag-iipon for a more important thing that i'm currently trying to setup in pinas....

Keeping fish is really good, as they seems to brighten-up the house with a lot of good vibes....! I've noticed that when my fish died before, parang nawalan din ng kulay ang apartment ko like bad luck just suddenly happened here, there, and just from nowhere sometimes na talagang nahirapan akong salagin ang mga ito nun....! Or maybe it was just me dahil nabuwisit nga ako dun sa naabutan ko na scene....!


Anyways, let me tell you about my fish tanks.... I probably have the biggest pair of tropical Angel Fish you'll ever see in a home aquarium....! Normally they're as big as a 2 peso coin only in pet shops, but my angels are as big as an adult person's palm ha-ha....! I think it's my tank's temperature that did the tricks, i always keep that in a constant check specially in summer time when the temperature is topping the scales....


The tank's temperature should always stay 28 degrees Celsius (oC) or about 85 degrees Fahrenheit (oF) at all time, that's my opinion kasi they're from the tropics di ba so dapat medyo mainit ang tubig na nilalanguyan nila.... But then in summer time, i have to keep a freezer-full of ice cubes to cool them down by dropping ice cubes in the tanks whenever the water temperature rises a bit higher than the required level.... By the way, those fish in the photos are the DISCUS FISH.... Ang cute nila di ba....?! Those ones are really big....! The top one is the Red Melon, center one is the Ghost Strain, and the bottom one is the Royal Blue Strain....


I have 6 lovely pairs of Discus Fish which are really expensive in pinas, even more expensive than the Arowanas i think.... Discus fish are a fantastic fish to have in your aquariums, you can compare them to a slice of fruit because of their deliciously looking brightly colored, printed body and rounded shape....


Discus fish seems to have their own personalities too, i think they also have their individual unique signature patterns of dots and stripes on their bodies.... I'm just lucky kasi affordable sila dito sa australian standard, though medyo unreasonably expensive pa rin compared to the pinas price converted to dollars....


Anyways, what happened when i was on my holiday last year devastated me so much that i've decided not to keep anymore fish.... I didn't even clean the tanks for a year, but some of the remaining fish proved to be so hardy surviving my harshness until i came back from hibernation to pick-up those broken pieces once again.... It was a tough situation for them i reckon, living in darkness for a month....


Nakalimutan ko kasing i-turn off ang mga water filters before going holiday.... The water subsided because of evaporation and the filter pumped-out water like a waterfalls kasi mababa na nga ang tubig sa tank nun....! As a result, the weight of the output water hits the water surface and splash back to the lightings causing a short circuit until nasunog na ang cable nya na mabuti na lang pala ay nakasandal sa concrete wall dahil kung hindi ay baka nasunog na rin siguro pati ang unit ko.... So in short ay walang ilaw sa loob ng tank for the whole time that i was away and the fish went on a month starvation dahil sa dilim....!


My neighbors said that there was a black-out but only in our apartment units and the circuit breakers tripped-off....! I didn't told them about the burnt wires and things cause they might complain against my fish tanks if they find out about what really happened....! Now i've learned my lessons so i check my tanks regularly now for some possible repeats of that incident and i've started cleaning and rearranging them as well....


At the moment, i'm more nervous than my pair of expectant Angel Fish ha-ha....! Sooner these breeding pair will have some fry swimming around ( babies ) and i can't hardly wait for that moment to see them swimming alongside their proud mom and dad....! Astig....!

An unreal compilation....!

Thursday morning around 7:15am when i arrived at work, it has been my habbit already to look at that same corner in the lunchroom where the book lady normally displays the books and other items that are for sale every wednesday, and leave them there for a forthnight (two weeks) before replacing them with some new ones again....

Last thursday, as usual after a forthnight i always get that same excitement to have a look at what she have left there for us to buy.... What caught my attention instantly was this simple white book with a picture of mountain ranges and a silhouette of a man on top of a cliff with a gesture as if he's talking to someone....

It was cheap for ten bucks, so i've decided to take it home with me.... I haven't paid for that yet 'coz the book lady comes back in two weeks time so i'll just pay her later when she's back....

I haven't actually formally started reading it yet because i was waiting for the weekend so that i will have plenty of time to absorb it well, though i only got one day for a weekend because i've done some overtime at work today but then i guess a day is more than enough to somehow starts firing-up my interest towards the book....

Don't get me wrong, the book is not at all about religious thingy, it's more on the outburst of human nature kind of views.... It's about our constant struggle to communicate with god minus the formality.... Like "what will i say or ask if i come across a chance of having a face to face conversations with god" those sorts of stuff.... It's very interesting i reckon it is....!

The author's name is Neale Donald Walsch, and the book is called Conversations with god (an uncommon dialogue) book 1.... The author had manage to create two characters in the book, one play the role of god and the other play the man seeking for answers....

A quick glance at the pages gave me an idea that it is a question and answer, as well as questions and counter questions sort of a flow in the book.... That reminds me of some scenes during my philosophy subject in college days years ago ha-ha....!

Here are some of the interesting parts of the book :

Man : There are those who say that life is a school, that we are here to learn specific lessons, that once we "graduated" we can go on to larger pursuits, no longer shackled by the body. Is this correct?

God : It is another part of your mythology, based on human experience.

Oh ha....! Parang ako, masyadong reklamador sa buhay ha-ha....! Very confusing ang mga wordings di ba....? That's why i need the weekend just to assimilate it well into my blood stream he-he....! Kung ako siguro ang sa role ng Man dyan, (man ka naman talaga a, ay tangek....!) siguradong laglag na baba ko, tulala pa ako sa sobrang confusion dun sa pinagsasabi ng God....!

Anyways, kayo na lang bahalang humusga at akoy matutulog na muna....! ET go home....! ZOOOOOM....!

Wala pa'ng mga additional na news, but she's probably here to promote something.... Maybe an album, single, or another movie perhaps.... Who knows....! My Pepe-razzis of course....! One thing is sure....! She's sooooo FANTASTIC....! so you better keep up ha-ha....!

Tamangtama, ang isang kasamahan ko sa trabaho ay manager ng Acer Computers ang husbandry nya.... Matanong nga kong may mga free staff tickets sya....



Ang nakaka-embarrass pa dito ay tatatlo lang na fans ang na-met nya dahil wala yatang kaalam-alam ang downunder tungkol sa pagdating nya ha-ha....! Alam mo Miss Knowles, palagay ko it's about time na para sibakin mo ang tulog mong promotor kasi wala naman sa tuktok ng Mt. Everest to'ng downunder para hindi maabot ng isang long distance call....! Buti pa pala mga fans ni Paris Hilton, malalakas ang pang-amoy....!



The 25-year-old singer emerged from a VIP entrance and headed straight towards the Three Amigos....! Ariba ariba ha-ha....! Don't worry Beyonce, ibig sabihin ng tatlong fans na nag-met sa you ay "we love you" from downunder.... Di ba three means, "i love you" he-he....! Palusot pa kayong mga aussies kayo grrrrrrr....!




Beyonce shots to famedom (may word ba na ganyan?) with the top selling female trio of all time na Destiny's Child, with whom she once visited Australia in 2005.... While the group has sold more than 50 million records, she has become equally successful as a model, fashion designer and a solo recording artist....



She hit the big screen with a baseball bat este a basket-full of film roles pala he-he, including her last year's Oscar award-winning movie, Dreamgirls and the ever popular and helarious na movie'ng Austin Powers ni pareng Mike Mayers.... Beyonce happily signed posters and posed for the Pepe-razzi for her three solid fans from Parramatta City....! At puro mga kapitbahay ko pa pala to sa Parramatta....! ASTIG TALAGA....!



And finally, she will perform a second Sydney show on Thursday, April 26 before hitting the road or maybe the clouds again to Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne for some more shows before going back to the land of the free willy.... At sana ay more than three na ang mag-aabang sa'yo sa airport.... Okay na ba sa'yo ang four....? More than three sabi mo e....!

My ACECAD wonders....!

Have anyone been to my FUNNY CARTOON BLOG already....? If not, kindly check it out mga my plens.... If you already did, you might be wondering now how i did those cartoon characters huh....? Ha-ha-ha....!



It's quite simple actually, you just got to have the right tools suited for your expected results.... That's why i bought this ACECAD's Acecat graphic tablet about three years ago from a local computer market-fair here in sydney....



It wasn't that expensive then, maybe because it was in a fair.... I got it for AU$ 10.00, (ten australian dollars) equivalent to P 395.00 (three hundred and ninety five pesos) and it was really worth the buy actually because after three long years of service, it's still on the very top of it's performance ha-ha....!

At first i didn't know how to use it 'coz we can't really put our hands on technologies like these back in the phils without spending a bit larger sum of cash, but since it's affordable to their standards here so i grabbed one straight away ha-ha....!

With a little patience and practice i was able to get used to it in a short period of time and also got familiar with all the functions and tricks shown on the pc screen that is so straight forward.... It's as easy as writing or sketching something on your notebooks and writing pads at school....! A very handy gadget this one....!
And just recently i saw this on display at a local supermarket and bought it too.... It's not in a popular brand but it did it's job as well as the other one.... The only difference is that with this one, i don't have to look at the pc screen anymore 'coz the writing or sketching is straight onto the tablet's surface for great control of the pen....

Both have great characteristics anyway, so i don't think that one is better than the other.... And believe me they're both fantastic....! I never regret a bit buying those stuff....

But what i was really dreaming of having is this BEAUTY....! Isn't she amazing....?! She's more advanced, far more accurate, and by the look of her, i can tell that it will be great to own one of this beauty if you're into designing or drafting passions.... I wish i will have one of this .... Please, please he-he....!

Anyways, i hope that i was able to answer all the questions, tags, and emails that i've received before asking me about how i did my cartoons and what kind of tools have i used to draw them.... Please do visit My Funny Cartoons site.... It's full of cartoons ha-ha....!

Back on air na naman po ako.... Parang radyo a....! Matagaltagal din akong nawala, mga 2 weeks he-he.... Matagal na ba yun....? Masyado lang naging busy ang 2007 ko at hindi ko pa mahanaphanap ang mga nawawalang bahagi ng katawan ko at nagkapirapiraso na yata ako sa sobrang confusion ngayong 2007....

Naging medyo mabagal rin itong pc ko nitong mga nakaraang araw at kagagaling lang sa pagka-crash ito buti na lang at naagapan ko kaagad at nai-reformat nang muli pero medyo may nakalimutan yata akong i-install at parang nahihirapan syang basahin ang ilang formats at mga iscript-iscript na yan dito sa www.

O baka naman naghihintay lang ng faster broadband connection kaya in a slowly crumbling mode na sya.... Anyway, a faster broadband connection is not that expensive anymore now a days unlike before na ginto ang presyo nito, but still considered unwise pa rin kung blogging lang naman ang main purpose at wala ka naman palagi sa bahay para ma-fully avail ang mga advantages nito....

But who knows i might make-up my mind one day.... Matagal kasi akong mag-decide.... Yun tipo bang pumutok na ang baril pero nag-iisip pa rin kung saan iilag, sa kanan kaya o sa kaliwa....

But i was trying my best and still keeping in touch with everyone naman all these absent days through my funny cartoon page na masmadaling i-update kasi pwede ko syang i-sketch lang muna at i-save sa drawing tablet ko and takes only about 30 mins/day to make 2-3 post daily as long as i have some spare time....

Kumusta naman ika nyo ang downunder....? Eto mainit pa rin pero patapos na ang summer and coming up is the autumn na palagay ko ay hindi rin masyadong malamig ngayon kasi nag-lapse din ang winter at spring noon sa intended normal average transition periods nila.... Very foggy din sa umaga, about 15-20 meters visibility.... Alam nyo ba na ang fog sa umaga ay indication ng isang mainit na araw depende sa intensity o kapal nito sa madaling araw.... Overall, everything is under control pati na ang kasalukuyang bagyo odette nila sa may goldcoast na hindi tumitinag sa kinatatayuang gitna ng dagat hanggang sa ngayon....

Anyways, pagdating ng winter season ay magmimistulang ghost town na naman ang downunder at masisitaguan na naman ang mga head turners ng kalye (mga chicks na very showy) sa mga suman wrappers nila.... And next summer ay nandyan na naman ako sa pinas....! Woohoo....! Saan kaya magandang mamasyal dyan....?

Sana pag-uwi ko ay sunduin ako ng mga astig, hindi astig, naintriga at kahit na yung mga nainis at nainsulto na mga nagbabasa sa blog ko na to.... Pero bad luck kasi no clues kayo kung sino si pepe unless na your a memeber of my ever loving family kasi i just happen to look like everyone else....! Black hair, black eyes, brown complexion and speaking pinoy just like you are, just like everyone else ha-ha....!

Bibigyan ko kayo ng clues mga my plens he-he.... I'm on board downunder's airline, and i'm not afraid to talk with strangers (talking to anything that moves he-he).... Parang horror movie ang dating nun peng a....! Astig kasi tayo.... Baka kasi bigla nyong tawagin ring pepe ang ale na moving slowly rin and not afraid of strangers din na kagaya ko, biglang mahampas pa kayo ng bakya, baston, plastic bag, bayong, payong, etc.... Wawa naman si kayo.... Whaaaa!

Bilis ng panahon ano....? Parang kelan lang yung last holiday ko mga 10 months ago, ngayon pabalik na naman ako....! Cant hardly wait for the moment mode na ulit si pepe.... Bad side effect lang ng mode na to ay napapadalas rin ang bisita ko sa filipino shops he-he....

Familiar ba kayo sa Nepenthes. (Pitcher Plant) Ito ay isang klase ng mga halamang tinatawag nating Carnivorous Species. Sa lahat halos ng mga milyon-milyong varieties ng mga halaman sa buong mundo dito yata ako na inlove sa kakaibang halaman na ito, pangalawa na lang ang Cacti o Cactus sa common na pagkakilala natin... Ang vessel ng halamang ito na parang pitcher ang appearance kung kayat tinawag syang Pitcher Plant, ay hindi bulaklak kundi extension lamang ng dahon nito... Ang vessel o pitcher ng halamang ito ay may taglay na digestive chemicals na kayang mag-digest o tumunaw ng mga insekto at maliliit na hayop na aksidenteng nahulog dito bilang secondary food source ng halaman...



Ang nabubulok na tissue ng mga insekto at maliliit na hayop ay mayaman sa nitrogen na syang ina-absorb at dagdag na nurishment dito...



Isa pa sa mga kakaibang katangian ng halaman na lalong nagpalalim pa sa interest ko dito ay ang nakakatuwang solusyon sa natural na problema nito... Ang natural habitat ng halamang ito ay sa mga high and remote regions lang hindi dahil sa yun lang ang may tamang klema para dito, kung hindi dahil sa yun lang sa palagay ko ang hindi pa na-aabot ng sibilisasyon at pang-aabuso ng tao...


Ang Nepenthes ay nangangailangan ng mga bagong generasyon ng passionate collectors para ipagpatuloy at panatilihing buhay, makulay, at maganda ang future para dito...



Sa pinas matatagpuan ang ilang varieties ng halaman na ito sa halos buong bahagi ng bansa... Ang pinaka sikat na mga distinasyon sa paghahanap nito sa natural state nila ay ang highlands ng Sibuyan, Banaue, Mindoro, and Mindanao.



Hindi ko pa nasubukang mag-alaga nito pero patuloy akong nagri-research tungkol dito just incase na dumating ang time na magkaron ako nito... Dito sa downunder ay medyo mahirap dahil sa wala akong space na pwedeng paglagyan nito at masyadong extreme at paiba-iba ang weather conditions, pero balak kong mag-settledown sa pinas so baka dun na lang ako mag-uumpisang mag-collect in the future... May tawag ako dito sa Nepenthes: I call it the Nature's Cocktail... Nakikita nyo ba ang similarity...? Cheers...!!
